Meet Dr. LaTarsha Holden
Dr. LaTarsha Holden is a leadership expert, author, speaker, trainer, advocate, and founder of Holden Global Solutions. She is also the creator of The Forged in the Fire Leadership Philosophy™, an inside-out leadership approach rooted in character, humility, and purpose.
Her philosophy is guided by one defining question: “Who must I become to lead well?” Through leadership development, speaking, education, peer support, and community advocacy, Dr. Holden helps individuals recognize their value, develop their leadership capacity, and create meaningful change.
Her leadership journey was forged through both service and adversity. After experiencing nearly five years of homelessness in Atlanta with her six children, Dr. Holden rebuilt her life through faith, education, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others. Her story demonstrates that difficult seasons do not have to define a person’s future—they can become the training ground for purpose.
Dr. Holden earned an Associate of Arts in Biblical Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctorate in Leadership Studies from Beulah Heights University. She is also a Certified Peer Specialist–Mental Health, Certified Anger Management Specialist, Mental Health First Aider, ordained pastor, and Georgia Notary Public.
Her professional and community experience includes leadership development, workforce training, mental health advocacy, homelessness services, faith leadership, and public service. She has served as a trainer and team coordinator, workshop facilitator, resident support professional, peer specialist, nonprofit founder, and candidate for Atlanta City Council.
Dr. Holden has taught and spoken before local, national, and international audiences, including college students in India and faith-based audiences in Pakistan. She has also appeared on television, radio, podcasts, and other media platforms, including ABC’s To Tell the Truth, FOX 5 Atlanta, CBS 46, WSB-TV, and V-103.
In 2020, Dr. Holden was named National Mother of the Year by American Mothers, Inc. Her additional honors include a City of Atlanta proclamation recognizing her as an Emerging Leader and recognition among the 100 Women of Power.
As the author of Forged in the Fire: Leadership Lessons in Character, Humility, and Purpose, Dr. Holden teaches that leadership is not something we simply step into—it is something we must become prepared to carry.
Her message is simple:
Become. Lead. The Influence Will Come.
